Brand Identity and Luxury Retail Packaging Built as One System
Kip Sleepwear is a premium sleepwear brand founded by Natalie Marshall. The brand needed a modern identity and packaging system that could hold its own in luxury retail, support gifting, and stay commercially practical. Kargo developed the logo, brand concept, and packaging as one project, then managed production through to finished goods.
The Challenge
Kip was moving into the luxury sleepwear market and needed an identity that reflected the founder's British background without reading as dated. On the packaging side, the brief required a system that could support keepsake gifting, hold its own alongside established luxury brands, and still protect product through shipping and e-commerce fulfillment. No single standard solution covered all three.
The Solution
We built the identity and packaging in the same process, so the logo, materials, and construction worked to one standard.
Key elements:
A modern logo with subtle British influence, applied consistently across every format
Cream-toned boxes with embossed seals, ribbons, and custom tags
Construction that supports complimentary monogramming and keepsake presentation
Materials selected for clean texture, product protection, and reliable production at scale
Designing both identity and packaging together kept the system consistent and gave Kip packaging ready for retail placement at Nordstrom and Bloomingdale's, as well as direct-to-consumer fulfillment.
Results
A single brand identity and packaging system, launched together
Retail presentation that holds up alongside established luxury brands
Packaging that protects product and supports monogramming
Consistent materials and construction for repeatable ongoing production
